The original stable courtyard houses our cafe in the old coach house, beautifully restored to provide a lovely contemporary space to enjoy home cooked food from the lunch menu. In June 2014 Andrea Clark joined us as Catering Manager and has created a new menu for the cafe. We now offer six hot dishes for a light lunch menu as well as our choice of soups, sandwiches, cakes, scones and tray bakes. Using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients they include a choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, all home made in our kitchens.
The menu changes seasonally, and one of our exciting planned developments is the creation of a formal vegetable garden to provide ingredients for the menus.

Locally reared turkey escallop with chestnut & herb stuffing, pigs in blankets, sprout bubble & squeak cake and turkey jus

Quiche of the day, dressed leaf salad & harrissa spiced potato salad
